cupcake club!

Emily came over for our annual cupcake club meeting pre-party. This year we decided to make a cupcake bar- not everyone likes frosting and some people like lots of frosting. There was also sparkly sugar sprinkles on the side. I think next year- more kinds of cupcakes and two types of frosting! More pics here.

Emily of cupcake club and I made zillions of cupcakes for Saturday night's party. We used recipes from the More from Magnolia cookbook, the Cake Bible and In the Sweet Kitchen. All but six of the cupcakes were devoured at the party, so I think the recipes were solid choices. Hurrah!
