I'm finally in the home stretch on two projects- my dad's vest and salt peanuts. Hurrah! I only have the sleeves to do on peanuts and the front and trim to do on the vest. I recently did a yarn inventory where I wrote down everything I had divided up by fiber and discovered that I have so much yarn that it made me feel yarn shame. So- no more yarn buying until I knit through at least a third of it. It's so depressing.
At SFGH, all the nurses and some of the residents on the birth center floor knit. It's pretty exciting, although I never knit at the hospital because I'm a lowly student and I'm supposed to be super keen.
I'm nervous about seaming salt peanuts, but I got the giant Vogue knitting book to help me through it. Hopefully it won't be that bad...
