This is my Manos del Uruguay cardigan made with yarn I bought on the New York yarn extravaganza at Purl. I used Barbara Walker's top-down raglan cardigan instructions with garter stitch collar and bands and rib cuffs and bottom. The sleeves are a bit puffy, and I still have to install a zipper, which I am terrified of doing, but otherwise, I'm pretty happy. I wear cardigans all the time, so hopefully this will get lots of wear. I need to get some blunter needles as my Denise needles tended to snag and split the Manos, but I can't bear the idea of buying MORE needles. Oh well.

It looks great, Jenny! I know what you mean about the needles. I have the Denise set, but still find myself buying needles. As convenient as they are, they are no substitute for bamboo.
