Harold and I roamed around the East Village and around NYU. We went to many vintage clothing stores, design stores and yarn stores. Then we went and had dinner with Paul Bausch and his fiance, Jess.
This was a gross day in Soho. We went to Moss, a design store, Purl, a yarn store, and Shopsins Restaurant with Jason Kottke. I saw Kenny, but I was afraid to talk to him. I had an open faced turkey sandwich with mushroom gravy, stuffing and cranberries. yum.
Yarn in New York was pretty amazing. I went to School Products, Habu, and Purl. I was seduced by all and spent too much money. Oh well.
Shopsins.
Kitchen Arts and Letters. This store was also irresistible. I bought many British cookbooks as well as a novelty cookbook by Andy Warhol.

Don't you just want to live in Purl SOHO? We need to get together and knit! I want to see your NY booty.
