VEB (very early breakfast) returned this morning after several months of break. John Polito and I went to Crepevine at Church and Market for breakfast. The crepes at Crepevine weren't too good, but it was great to be out and about in the early am with John. Our next VEB plan is to go to Tartine where John says we will have such a breakfast as to make the last "all you can eat croissant VEB pale in comparison." The all-you-can-eat-croissant-VEB was pretty decadent, so I can't imagine what it will be like at Tartine with the reins off. VEB has been off since last semester, since I had 8 am classes Monday through Friday. It would have to have been VEEB, and there aren't too many breakfast options earlier than seven.

What time is your VEB? I bet it isn't that early. In high school, my friends and I used to be at the diner at 5am so we could eat breakfast, watch a movie, and then be at school on time (more or less). And I don't even consider that very early.
